I got back fairly early after lastnights shift and with a good forecast - breezy and sunny I decided to give The Manor another go. By the time I made it to the carpark the sun had gone but the ssw wind was gusting to 26 mph so went for the 6.4. With the tide coming in staying upwind should not be a problem but the sea was big and lumpy - really no better here an at the lumpy Dip or Fludgers !!! the other problem here at this time of year is the large number of fishermen :( I had one nice powdered up run then struggled to get going with the small sail - 7.8 would have been slow to gey going too - not hte best hour :(
